Multicriteria decision making for selecting an optimal survey approach for large building portfolios

چکیده

Technological advances and innovations have led to various pre- post-disaster data collection alternatives. Hence, selecting a suitable survey approach may be challenging for different decision-makers. This paper proposes multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) method choose the optimal gather exposure information needed reliable multi-hazard risk assessment of large building infrastructure portfolios. Both deterministic stochastic implementations MCDM are investigated, considering primary sources aleatory epistemic uncertainties. The applicability proposed framework is demonstrated portfolio 13,200 buildings in hypothetical prone region. results show that informed decisions on identifying an technique could efficiently derived using number relevant criteria. methodology can support decision-makers modeling management/reduction.
